A Missouri-based pest control company tackles fly problems in an open-air environment
ROTTLER PEST & LAWN SOLUTIONS HITS A HOME RUN WITH FLY SOLUTIONS
PROBLEM: PRIMARILY FRUIT FLIES
ENVIRONMENT: LARGE ENTERTAINMENT VENUE NEAR A PRO SPORTS STADIUM
SOLUTION: NISUS SMALL FLY PROTOCOL
Jason Everitt of Rottler Pest & Lawn Solutions was at the end of his rope with fly issues at a major account in St. Louis, Missouri that included multiple bars and restaurants in an open-air sports environment. After trying multiple products and training customers on sanitation, issues were still popping up. There was never enough time to recover, especially with back-to-back games creating unending amounts of beverages, food and garbage in an open environment with easy access for pests. Jason needed a long-term solution.
Then Jason met Nisus rep at a Copesan meeting. After watching a Nisus webinar on small flies, he asked Nisus to come out and take a look at the problem. They tackled it by foaming the area's many drains using TrueTech foaming equipment, ProFoam Platinum, Nibor-D and Nisus DSV. Jason then followed up with repeat treatments.
Jason saw positive results immediately and continued to hit the problem hard, working towards a maintenance level of treatment with significantly reduced callbacks. He successfully gained enough control so he only had to treat the facility every two weeks, even with a heavy game schedule in the middle of summer.
Nisus' multi-step small fly protocol includes foaming drains with specific products to control the source of the problem, working with clients to maintain a good sanitation program and conducting regular inspections. For more information go to nisuscorp.com.
